Whether you’re looking to improve your trail running abilities or merely finish your first race intact, UltraChix offers a range of highly effective trail running training packages to help you achieve your goals.

Six-Week Starter Package for 2019

9th January – 13th February 2019 – $203

Do you want to learn tips and tricks to help you fly over the trails? Do you want to enter a trail running event but haven’t felt confident enough? Do you enjoy hiking and want to take the next step? Have you entered an event like Tassie Trail Fest or Gone Nuts and want some help getting you over the finish line?

This training package is designed for newcomers to trail running, those wanting to improve general running fitness through trail running and to learn the basics of trail running technique. Participants do not specifically require previous trail running experience however a basic level of fitness in either running (Parkrun etc.) or hiking is required – please contact us if you have any concerns.

Will be held Wednesday evenings at 6pm, starting 9th January 2019 from the Hoo Hoo Hut in Trevallyn Reserve.

Cost will be $203 for a six-week training package which includes:

  • Six Wednesday evening guided sessions with Amy and Bev, covering trail running technique, including one night running session – great to prep for the 16km Night Run at Tassie Trail Fest!
  • Expert advice on running nutrition and trail running equipment.
  • 10% discount on an UltraChix Trail Running Tour.
  • Get fit, meet great people, have heaps of fun.
  • Offer is open to girls and guys – bring your partner or a friend along!

Ten-Week Intermediate Training Package

6th March – 8th May 2019 – $513

Got a taste for trail running and want to take it to the next level?

This training package runs for 10 weeks from 6th March to 8th May 2019 and is the perfect preparation for events like UTA22, Endorfun Freycinet or Labilladiere… or simply to build confidence, endurance and skill over technical terrain.

Will be held Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm from the Hoo Hoo Hut, Trevallyn Reserve.

Cost will be $513 for a ten-week training package which includes:

  • Thirty training sessions in total! That’s about $17 a session! Includes ten Wednesday evening guided sessions with Amy and Bev, covering trail running technique (including two dedicated night trail running sessions) and twenty self-guided training sessions covering running drills, core strength and cardio for maximum effect.
  • Dedicated private web forum for ongoing advice and support to build fitness and endurance over the 10-week program.
  • Expert advice on running nutrition and trail running equipment.
  • 10% discount on an UltraChix Trail Running Tour.
